The FMT-XCT project aims to combine X-ray computed tomography (XCT) and fluorescence molecular tomography (FMT) into a hybrid, quantitative imaging system. The project builds on state-of-the art knowledge that has only recently become available in Europe, and which is brought to the project by the partners herein. In return, it should deliver the first such hybrid system worldwide.
This project starting in March 08 is funded under the 7th Framework program by the European Commission.
