System Integration  August 29, 2013 – 00:24

The convergence of information about IP is the common denominator of the solutions proposed by netpharos. In the face of growing diversity and complexity of the systems that exchange information, the convergence of IP allows you to carry all communication services (data, voice, video surveillance, remote control, Internet access, etc..) On a single IP network wired and wireless , with obvious advantages in terms of cost, integrability of systems, management and maintenance.

Processing architectures and storage
Design and implementation of computer architectures based operating platforms Solaris, Microsoft, Linux. Complex configurations for the provision of services in ASP (multilayer, multitenancy, virtualization, clustering, high availability and load balancing, tuning). Server farm consolidation.
Design and implementation of systems and Storage Area Network Data Backup and Recovery, highly scalable IP network and local geography.

Communication Architectures
Design and implementation of network architectures and geographical local IP subnets of fixed and mobile telecommunications.
Wireless local and metropolitan area networks based on Wi-Fi standard and Hiperlan.
Configuring advanced network services for Mobile Office applications and MtM (Machine-to-Machine) networks of the major mobile network operators.
Networks IP Telephony applications and integration with billing.

Platforms management and monitoring
Design and implementation of platforms for monitoring and management of computer services, computer systems and IP network services, monitoring and management 'system (server, desktop, network) on-site and remotely.

Office Automation
Design and implementation of the corporate intranet (area where productivity is demonstrated by the application services business, workstations, network services).
Network Services Corporate: Unified Messaging, Web proxy, NAS, DNS, DHCP server, structuring the corporate directory, centralized distribution of updates (OS patching, antivirus centralized distribution etc..).
Mobile Workspace and teleworking with secure access to the corporate intranet, individual productivity workstations and network servers based on Microsoft operating systems and Linux environments in single flavor or integrated (Linux desktop integration).

Obsolete programmer wants his career back

I have a BA in Math and 15 years as a programmer.
During the 1990s I created an office automation and dispathing system for the car service industry, using VB, SQL Server, Access, Excel, and Quickbooks.
During the 1980s I contributed to the development of a major systems product for IBM mainframes, using BAL and REXX.
I have not found work in my field since the fall of 2001. Since then I took two training courses: one in UNIX, C, and JAVA; the other for ORACLE DBA.
I did a large independent study project in JAVA, completed an internship in ORACLE; and developed a small scheduling application in ASP

MATLAB / Simulink
Process modeling with a transfer function, creation and analysis of the process in the Simulink module. Feedback, PI, PID and Kalman filter, energy saving or rapid
response systems. Real-time XPC Target experiments.
TOM (Train Operations Module)
Compilation of data (grade, curve, speed restriction) taken from blueprints and track drawings with chainage conversions. Simulation of train models with information provided by manufacturers (tractive effort vs. speed, propulsion efficiency data, train resistance coefficients etc.) Modeling of traction power networks with nodal diagrams

  • Avatar Jimmy IP Phones - Is it possible to use one on an anologue line with a RJ45 to RJ11 Convertor?
Mar 14, 2011 by Jimmy | Posted in Land Phones

Have been looking at Mitel IP phones as they are what I use at work. Wondered if it it possisble to connect one to an anologue line like in my home? Obviously most of the functions wouldn t work like transfer etc. Or do Mitel make anologue phones or just IP only? Can anyone shed some light on this situation?

    • If you are going to use an IP phone you might as well just get yourself a SIP provider and use it as an IP phone if you really want to use the IP phone with an analog line then you can get yourself a linksys SPA3102 (all of the linksys boxes look the same you would need a 3102 to convert a POTS line to SIP)

  • Avatar Mere Mortal Is there any hardware platforms in current production that use the Zilog Z80 microprocessor?
Sep 16, 2010 by Mere Mortal | Posted in Programming & Design
    • Wow, talk about old memories. Other than my old S-100 bus computer (which still works), I doubt it. There are much more powerful, lower powered, smaller chips available today. Not that this should stop you. Design and build a Z-80 computer. You should still be able to download ZCPR and 4DOS, and the BIOS is pretty trivial, except for the disk controller code, which would depend on the hardware. (We built a pretty extensive system in 1978 using Mostek …
